Rename University Of Nigeria Nsukka After Queen Elizabeth lI, Declare 3 Days Of National Mourning-Garba.

A controversial former presidential aspirant, Mr Adamu Garba, has asked the Nigerian Government to rename the University of Nigeria, Nsukka after Queen Elizabeth lI.

The APC chieftain made this statement on Thursday night following the passage of Queen Elizabeth lI.

Pained by her Majesty’s death, Adamu Garba in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter page, said Nigerians should immortalise the demised Queen of England in order to honour her.

His tweets read, “If I’m the President of Nigeria today, I’ll declare 3 days of National Mourning for the death of The Queen Elizabeth II of England.

“In order to immortalise (sic) Queen Elizabeth, we should rename the University of Nigeria, Nsukka to Queen Elizabeth University of Nigeria since it is the first University in Nigeria(sic).

“Immortalizing Queen Elizabeth by renaming the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in her honour would’ve been an easier deal if I were communicating with our grandparents. Fortunately, they knew her worth.

“Age is a grace, & 7 decades on the Throne can only be the work of God and Grace.’’
