Nigerian Embassy in Hungary is yet to pay rent and maybe evicted soon – finance minister

The Nigerian embassy in Hungary may be evicted if nothing is done to offset the rent where the mission is housed – According to the minister of foreign affairs, Godfrey Onyeama, other Nigerian embassies globally are also indebted to their landlords – Onyeama is advocating that budgetary allocations to the ministry of foreign affairs be made in dollars.

The Nigerian embassy in Hungary is facing eviction from the landlord of the building already where the mission is located. Godfrey Onyeama, the minister of foreign affairs, made the disclosure on when defending the ministry’s 2021 budget at the House of Representatives in Abuja.
