The second edition of Women digital agenda summit is as important and timely steps towards promoting the enactment of better policies to
close the digital gender gap and providing a large landmark for women’s empowerment in multilateral, internationally for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development goal, which was adopted by UN Member States in September 2015, which identifies ICTs as key enablers of development and as an essential component of transformative solutions to meet today’s development challenges (CECAD) Centre for Cyber Awareness and Development an advocacy group has taken it upon herself to place Nigeria alongside other nations towards achieving this big goal.

This year event was aimed at rewarding, identifying and promoting the new digital tools that can empower women while promoting a new source of inclusive global economic growth also looking at how women have leverage on digital age at their disposal.
This agenda aims to mobilize financial and technical resources highlighting the principal need for gender mainstreaming and equality. It has already been widely recognized throughout past decades that the inclusion of women is vital for the shift towards development and poverty eradication. Yet persistent concerns regarding female inclusion and gender equality remain an issue for all as the women and the key players have a lot of work to do.
