GARBA SHEHU CLEARS AIR ON BUHARI’S AIDE SARKI’S COVID19 STATUS.

The presidency has warned Nigerians to be wary of fake news about Buhari’s aide, Sarki Abba was reported to have tested positive of COVID-19 by an online medium – Garba Shehu,

Shehu said that the report was a sheer fabrication and a brazen effort by an online news medium to mislead the public.

Shehu, however, urged the general public to ignore such stories, which he said are intended to mislead the people and create unnecessary anxiety about the safety of the president. Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Lauretta Onochie, a media aide of President Muhammadu Buhari, faulted a report which claimed that a presidential aide tested positive for COVID-19. It was reported that the report which was published on Tuesday, September 1, had alleged that Abba contracted the coronavirus.
