The youths blocked a major expressway calling on the government at all levels to intervene in the crisis – The youths mainly from Gauraka community in Niger state lamented that their area is under siege by bandits

Never miss important updates! Angry youths protesting over the abduction of 15 persons by bandits on Monday, May 24 vandalized and burnt the Gauraka police station in Tafa local government area of Niger state.

According to a report by The Nation, 15 people were abducted by bandits in the Gauraka community when bandits in their large number stormed the community.

The bandits were said to have moved from house to house to forcefully drag their victims out of their homes, a pregnant woman was said to be among the abductees.

Governor Sani Bello of Niger state is yet to address the issue as of the time of this report.
