We understand that the federal government is concerned about the high level of employment in the country. That is also our concern and much more. The Beady’s  Word Production is close to the top echelons of the Commerce hub of Nigeria, with our Business summit and fair an annual event where we hold consultations with the SMEs and analyze the yearnings and aspirations of these two extremes of our economic spectrum and found out that both are lamenting the unavailability of an adequate enabling and friendly environment for their businesses.

A conducive environment would include a free period of taxes, multiple taxation and business rates for at least one year, an electric generator to rent, a reduction in store rents for newcomers, and the like.

At our fourth edition at the last Business Summit held at Raddison Blu at Ikeja, stakeholders in the Nigerian business circles raised the fact that the entry points of business are too stiff and registration of companies, registration of products/services with NAFDAC  being two expensive for each product and the renewal period of two years was a thing of concern during the event and other agencies of the government, comprehensive and effective security for the business premises, extra-judicial money extorted by the police from delivery vans, boys which were made known to be from mostly local government, cost of operating electric generators among other things.

Patron of the business summit and fair and APC Lagos east leader, Senator Anthony Adefuye, suggested mediating between Msme and the federal government to direct the plaintive fee for subsidizing the NAFDAC registration through smedan so people can do business with it easily, why everyone coursed to and there was a standing ovation for him.

The high level of unemployment could be drastically reduced if our governments at the three levels of federal, state, and local could generously pay attention to the aforementioned.
