Traffic congestion was observed on the road inward Apapa from Ijora weekend after the Federal Government shut down the Marine bridge for repair and maintenance works.
Officials said the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing closed the bridge at about 11 am on Saturday. The bridge will remain closed for three months.
